What are the benefits of a smaller 5" filter design?

The 5 in filter design helps create a lighter, more compact system that is easier to transport, store, and install in RV environments with limited space.

What is the difference between the AR3 and the R3 systems?

The AR3 and R3 utilize the same filtration technology, filters, and Quick Connect system. The main difference is the frame material and overall design.

Can freezing temperatures damage the AR3?

Yes. Water left inside the system can freeze and potentially damage the housings or fittings. We recommend draining and storing the system during freezing conditions.

Does the AR3 soften water?

No. The AR3 is a filtration system designed to help reduce fine contaminants, sediment, chlorine, odors, and unpleasant tastes, but it is not a water softener. For hard water treatment, we recommend pairing the AR3 with a Blu Technology water softener.

What is the recommended PSI for the AR3?

The AR3 System includes the AR3 filtration unit, installed filters,3/4" garden hose Quick Connect fittings, a carrying bag for the AR3 system, and a filter housing key for filter maintenance.

Does the AR3 reduce water pressure?

The AR3 is designed with high-flow filters to help maintain strong water flow with minimal pressure loss.
