ANOTHER  INDUSTRY FIRST!  Blu Technology is proud to announce their new series of ALL Stainless Steel accessories.

Our new Blu Technology Regulator is 100% Stainless Steel, down to the screws in the gauge.

Stainless Stainless or 18/8 - containing 18% Chromium and 8% Nickle is approved by FDA, ANSI and NSF for drinking water safe applications.

Our gaskets are now NSF approved Silicon as an added layer of safety.

The inside of the Blu Tech Pressure Regulator is filled with high-class silicone oil. The gauge is filled with oil to prevent water intrusion and rust, create a stronger seal, and prolong the service life. The Pressure Regulator is stainless steel 304 which inhibits bacterial growth.

The Blu Tech Quick Connect Pressure Regulator is designed with ¾” thread (garden hose threading), compatible with all standard USA water spickets. The Dual-Layer inlet screened filter helps filter sediment to prevent clogs and valve damage, bringing you continuous water flow which is about 2-4 gallons per minute. The outlet comes with a stainless steel quick connect, compatible with Blu Technology Stainless Steel Hoses.

The Pressure Regulator adjusts Water Pressure from 0-160 PSI. Different campsites have different water pressures and are suitable for different conditions. Adjust the screw on top of the regulator to select your desired pressure setting.

Blu Technology recommends setting your water pressure at around 40-60PSI. Turn clockwise to increase pressure, turn counterclockwise to decrease pressure. The Blu Tech Quick Connect Pressure Regulator is preset at 45 PSI.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What does a pressure regulator do for my RV water system?

A pressure regulator helps protect your RV plumbing, filtration systems, water softener, faucets, and appliances from excessively high campground water pressure. It reduces incoming PSI to a safer operating range to help prevent leaks, burst lines, and premature wear.

Why is there liquid inside the gauge?

There is liquid silicone inside of the gauge that allows the gauge to work more efficiently.

What PSI should I run with Blu Technology systems?

We recommend operating at 60 PSI or below for all Blu Technology filtration systems and water softeners.

Why is a pressure regulator important at campgrounds?

Campground water pressure can vary greatly and may sometimes exceed safe operating levels for RV plumbing systems. A pressure regulator protects your system from water pressure surges and improves overall reliability.

Where should I install the pressure regulator?

The pressure regulator should typically be installed directly at the campground spigot before your hose, filtration system, water softener, or other accessories.
