Description

Water coming into your RV isn’t filtered to a consistent standard. Many RV filters are designed for 5 micron or higher, which leaves finer contaminants behind in your water.

The AR3 XLt 3-Stage RV Water Filtration System (with 10" filters) is engineered to go further. It filters down to 0.2 micron while maintaining strong water flow using materials that are NSF-certified for drinking water safety.

Features & Benefits

  • Larger 10" filters provide increased filter surface area and sediment-holding capacity for longer run time and fewer filter changes*
  • Well suited for RV owners who travel frequently, encounter heavier sediment conditions, use more water day to day or prefer reduced maintenance frequency
  • Captures dirt, sand, and sediment early to help protect the system and extend filter life
  • Filters down to 0.2 micron to capture bacteria, cysts, and fine particles
  • Reduces chemicals that contribute to poor taste and odor
  • High-flow design for consistent showers and faucet performance
  • Electroplated aluminum frame and stainless-steel components reduce reliance on plastic and improve durability
  • Quick Connect ¾" GHT compatibility enables fast, tool-free set-up and seamless system integration

Why Choose a 10" Filter System

The AR3 XLt uses larger 10" filters that provide approximately double the filter surface area compared to 5" filters. Flow rate and water pressure remain consistent between the two systems, but the additional filter media volume allows the AR3 XLt to hold more sediment and contaminants before replacement becomes necessary.

That increased sediment-holding capacity helps support fewer filter changes, and longer operational intervals between maintenance. This makes the AR3 XLt especially well-suited for heavier usage patterns, extended travel, long-term camping, boondocking, or campground water conditions with higher sediment levels.

True Multi-Stage Filtration

The AR3 XLt is built around a structured three-stage filtration process where each stage is designed to do a specific job. Instead of relying on a single filter to handle everything, the system separates sediment removal, fine filtration, and chemical reduction into distinct steps.

Filtration begins with the Stage 1 Longevity filter using pleated polypropylene media at 5 microns to capture dirt, sand, and sediment before it reaches the next stage. This helps protect downstream filters and maintain overall system performance.

The system then moves into the Stage 2, 0.2-Micron High Flow filter, which targets bacteria, cysts, and fine particles that standard RV filters are not designed to trap. Most RV filters stop at 5 microns, making this stage approximately 25x finer in filtration capability.

The final step is the Stage 3 Tasty filter, where granular activated carbon reduces chemicals that contribute to poor taste and odor. This progression from sediment to fine filtration to chemical reduction creates a more complete filtration pathway.

High Flow That Supports Real Use

Many multi-stage systems restrict flow as filtration increases. The AR3 XLt is engineered to maintain both. Delivering up to 5.5 gallons per minute at 60 PSI (when used with standard ¾" hoses), its high flow performance supports how water is used in an RV. Showers stay consistent. Sinks and fixtures perform as expected. Multiple water sources can run at the same time without the drop-off common in more restrictive filtration systems.

Built Better. You’ll Notice.

The AR3 XLt has an electroplated aluminum frame that is lightweight, UV resistant, and built for long-term outdoor use.

Filter canisters and Quick Connects are constructed from stainless steel, replacing the plastic-heavy housings commonly used in RV filtration systems. This reduces the potential for unwanted contaminants to leach into materials over time while improving overall system integrity. Most importantly, the materials used in these components are NSF-certified for drinking water safety.

Designed to integrate into Blu Technology’s Quick Connect ecosystem, the AR3 XLt reduces connection points and simplifies set up while creating a complete water pathway from source to RV.

Filter Life and Maintenance

Filter performance depends on usage and source water conditions. Under typical conditions, filters are designed to last between three to four months or approximately 3,000 to 4,000 gallons.*

Maintaining proper replacement intervals helps ensure filtration performance and flow remain consistent over time.
