What began on July 4, 1776 has grown and blossomed into the greatest country the world has ever known. It did not happen accidentally. On July 4, 2026, the United States of America celebrates our 250th birthday, and Blu Technology’s veteran owners and founders would like to give back to our customers who trust us to design, engineer, and build The Gold Standard of Mobile Water Safety.

We are proud to introduce the PURBLU™ AR3 and AR3 XLt America 250th Series, a limited release built on our LED UVC Purification Systems, and we’re only producing 100 of them. Each unit features a custom American flag design, and every one of these 100 units are hand-signed and numbered by our veteran owners. 

What RVers Should Know About Their Water

One of the great freedoms of RV life is the ability to go wherever the road takes you. That freedom comes with a trade-off most people do not think about until they have to: the water you hook up to at each new location is rarely the same as the last, and it may contain harmful microorganisms. 

Campground water can come from a range of sources, including municipal systems, private wells, and surface water supplies, each treated and maintained to different standards. Water quality regulations vary significantly from state to state, county to county, and campground to campground. Even at well-maintained sites, the systems involved in getting water from the source to your RV introduce additional opportunities for contamination along the way.

The microorganisms most commonly associated with these conditions, including bacteria like E. coli and coliform, and protozoa like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, are not always detectable by taste or eliminated by standard filtration alone. The point is not to cause concern, but to highlight that the water you use for drinking, cooking, and bathing while on the road deserves the same attention you would give it at home, and often requires a little more.

LED UVC purification works differently than filtration. Where filters are designed to physically remove particles and contaminants from water, UVC light targets microorganisms directly at the DNA and RNA level, disrupting their ability to reproduce and rendering them harmless. • Stage 1, Longevity™ Pre-Filter: Captures sediment, dirt, and rust to protect downstream filters and extend system life.

• Stages 2 and 3, Dual-Action OFF-GRID+™ Filter: High-flow electro-absorptive 0.2-micron filtration combined with carbon block media for clarity and taste.

• Stage 4, Advanced LED UVC Purification: UV light that targets microorganisms at the DNA and RNA level, delivering the final layer of protection at 2.9 GPM.

Military families already carry a lot. Operation Autism exists to bridge that gap, connecting families to the tools and community they need to move forward with confidence.

The America 250th Series flag design is also available through our LED UVC Purification Conversion Service. If you already own an AR3 or AR3 XLt, your system may qualify for a full upgrade to LED UVC purification, and you can add the limited-edition American flag design as part of that process.

This is worth knowing if you have been on the fence about upgrading. Rather than replacing a system you already rely on, the conversion service lets you bring it forward. You get the performance benefits of our LED UVC technology and the commemorative design, without starting from scratch. It is also a way to participate in this release if you already own a 3-stage AR3 or AR3 XLt system.

A Few Words on Availability

This is a limited-edition series of only 100 units. We do not plan to reprint the design or reopen the run once they are gone. We have put a lot of thought into this one, and it reflects things we genuinely care about as a company. We hope it finds its way to people who will appreciate it for all of those reasons, not just as a piece of hardware, but as a small marker of a historical moment we all share.
