How to Deep Clean Your RV Fresh Water System

Periodic cleaning helps remove accumulated residue and unwanted odors from your RV’s fresh water plumbing, tanks, and connected equipment. We recommend incorporating BLEACHFREE into your normal fresh water system maintenance routine and when replacing filters.

BLU TECHNOLOGY® SYSTEM CLEANING — CITY WATER

  1. When changing filters, install all new filters except the Tasty last-stage filter. Leave the last-stage canister available for the cleaning solution.
  2. Place two 0.5 fl. oz. BLEACHFREE packets into the last-stage canister and reinstall the canister without the filter.
  3. Connect the inlet of the Blu Technology filtration system to the water source.

  5. Turn on the water source to the RV.
  6. Open all faucets, hot and cold, including showers, washers, and other fixtures. Allow water to run for approximately 15 minutes or until no foam is visible.
  7. Turn off all faucets and fixtures.
