What makes the TRIO unit different from the AR3 and R3?

All of these three-stage systems provide the same level of filtration, however, the TRIO is a fixed-mounted three-stage filtration system. TheAR3 and R3 are portable filtration systems that come with an external frame allowing the system to be placed on the ground or floor.

Can freezing temperatures damage the TRIO?

Yes. Water left inside the system can freeze and potentially damage the housings or fittings. We recommend draining and storing the system during freezing conditions.

Does the TRIO soften water?

No. The TRIO is a filtration system designed to help reduce fine contaminants, sediment, chlorine, odors, and unpleasant tastes, but it is not a water softener. For hard water treatment, we recommend pairing the TRIO with a Blu Technology water softener.

What is included with the Trio System?

The TRIO System includes the TRIO filtration unit, installed filters, and a filter housing key for filter maintenance.

What is the recommended PSI for the Trio?

We recommend operating the TRIO at 60 PSI or below.

Does the TRIO reduce water pressure?

The Trio is designed with high-flow filters to help maintain strong water flow with minimal pressure loss.
