FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Why would I want a Flow Meter on my RV?

A Flow Meter gives you better visibility into your water usage, which can be especially helpful while camping, boondocking, filling freshwater tanks, or troubleshooting plumbing issues. It also can be a good indicator of when it’s time to replace your filters.

How does the Flow Meter measure water flow?

The Flow Meter uses a small internal turbine that spins as water passes through the unit. The speed of the turbine helps calculate water flow and usage while maintaining high-flow performance.

Where should I install the Flow Meter?

The Flow Meter is typically installed inline with your RV water set-up before or after your filtration system depending on your preferred monitoring set-up.

Does the Flow Meter require batteries or power?

The Flow Meter will operate electronically, powered by two AAA batteries inside of the unit. Batteries will need to be replaced periodically.
